Students discoursed on how Indian sportswomen and athletes are trying to establish their identity and how participation in sports can be an invigorating and personally empowering experience for women in the online debate competition on ‘Sports in Independent India: A Gender-Bender’ of the Literary Committee, Women's College, Aligarh Muslim University. The competition was held to mark the 75th Indian Independence Day.

सावन के महीने में भोजपुरी स्‍टार खेसारीलाल यादव का एक नया गाना रिलीज किया गया है। यह नया गाना है ‘गणपति बप्पा गजबे राउर पप्पा’।
