The ‘Earth Overshoot Day’ was observed at the Abdullah School, Aligarh Muslim University with students participating in a poster-making competition raising awareness on the dangers of how humanity is exhausting nature by drawing down resource stocks and accumulating carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Deliberations were made on bridging the divide between traditional and modern education and providing the Madrasa students with the education in tune with modern times in the web talk on ‘Planning for your Future: From Madarsa to Modern Education’ of the Centre for Promotion of Educational and Cultural Advancement of Muslims of India, Aligarh Muslim University.
