Aligarh: Deliberations were made on bridging the divide between traditional and modern education and providing the Madrasa students with the education in tune with modern times in the web talk on ‘Planning for your Future: From Madarsa to Modern Education’ of the Centre for Promotion of Educational and Cultural Advancement of Muslims of India, Aligarh Muslim University.
The resource person, AMU alumnus, Dr. Saadat M Alhashmi, University of Sharjah, UAE, interacted with students and gave them insights on making wise career decisions.
He discussed the abundance of opportunities that can come by studying modern curricula with subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics, computer science, English language and literature, and other regular subjects.
Dr. Saadat also answered the queries of students.
Dr. Naseem Ahmad Khan (Director, CEPECAMI) delivered the welcome address.
Dr. Md Khursheed Alam introduced the guests and Dr. Farheen Anjum extended the vote of thanks.
