Aligarh: The National Service Scheme at Aligarh Muslim University organized a webinar titled ‘Gender-Inclusive Community Leadership: A Pathway to Viksit Bharat, ’ emphasizing the critical role of inclusivity in leadership.
Prof Naseem Ahmad Khan, Chairperson of the Department of Social Work, highlighted the necessity of gender inclusivity in leadership to achieve Viksit Bharat. He stressed that women's active participation in leadership roles across all sectors is vital for social, economic, and cultural progress.
The session commenced with a welcome address from Dr Mohd Mohsin Khan, the coordinator. Dr Qurratul Aein Ali conducted the event, steering discussions on promoting inclusive leadership. She also concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
With over 60 participants, the webinar served as a call to action, urging students and professionals to advocate for gender-inclusive leadership as a cornerstone for a progressive and developed India.
