Aligarh: The ‘Earth Overshoot Day’ was observed at the Abdullah School, Aligarh Muslim University with students participating in a poster-making competition raising awareness on the dangers of how humanity is exhausting nature by drawing down resource stocks and accumulating carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
“Students were sensitized on the importance of conservation, sustainable development and important steps need to be taken to ease the burden on nature”, said Umra Zaheer, Superintendent, Abdullah School.
