The Department of Physical Education at Aligarh Muslim University successfully concluded its comprehensive 12-week Aerobic Training Workshop, aimed at imparting effective strategies for obesity management.

Dr Firoj Biswas, Post-doctoral Fellow from ICSSR, has received the prestigious NP Aiyyar Young Geographers' Award, 2023, during the 45th Indian Geography Congress, organized under the aegis of the National Association of Geographers at the Savitribai Phule Pune University of Pune.

The Rural Health Training Centre in Jawan, running under the management of the Department of Community Medicine at Aligarh Muslim University organized a health camp for school children, under the guidance of Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine, and Dr. Uzma Eram. Dr. Tabassum Nawab supervised the camp.
