The Ambassador of the Dominican Republic David Puig visited the Department of Foreign Languages at the Aligarh Muslim University to collaborate with the university and improve the India-Dominican Republic relationship through cultural and educational agreements.

Dedicated specialists and subject experts from Australian, US, and British universities and various Indian Institutes of Technology provided valuable sources of technical content and broadened the scope of thermal engineering applications and modes of multiphase heat transfer in the Faculty Development Programme on ‘Recent Advances in Heat Transfer and Combustion Engineering’ of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University.

The Aligarh Muslim University clarified that the Executive Council through its resolution, dated, October 4, 2005, and resolution no. 15, dated January 1, 2005, resolved that the monogram with Quran Ayah on the notices of meetings, invitation cards, pamphlets, examination, and test answer books, calendars, file covers, project and lab reports, examination and admission forms, and letterheads will not be used to avoid disrespect of the religious verse due to the ephemeral nature of these documents.

A panel of faculty members, researchers, and students got together to discuss ways chemists can take their careers to the next level in the online ‘National Chemistry Week’ observations of the American Chemical Society International Students Chapter, Aligarh Muslim University. The program was conducted in collaboration with the Training and Placement Office—General of the university.
