New Delhi: India has launched one of the world’s most ambitious art-meets-environment movements with Season 2 of the InBidz Global Art Contest, calling upon one million artists to plant one million trees. The global launch is scheduled for September 27.
Season 1 brought together over 1,000 artists from 15+ countries, culminating in a grand ceremony at GMR Aerocity, Delhi and an online auction of the top 50 artworks. Building on this success, Season 2 is rising as a people’s movement, rooted in Ghaziabad, powered by India’s creative spirit, and expanding across the globe.
Every artist is welcomed with a free first entry. The second entry is unlocked only after planting a tree and sharing a photograph. With this simple act, citizens of India and the world join hands, proving that art can heal the planet.
“InBidz is not just an art contest; it is India’s gift to the world, where every colour plants hope, and every canvas gives life to a tree,” said Wagish Sharma, Founder of InBidz.
Renowned artist Bijay Biswaal added his support, “Art is not only a medium of beauty but also a path to nurture life and nature. InBidz has beautifully connected creativity with the environment, and this will inspire generations to come.”
The initiative is supported by leading artists, environmental champions, and proud partners — with People First Consultants as sponsor and GMR Aerocity, Delhi as venue partner. From children sketching in classrooms to professionals painting in studios, everyone is invited to participate, plant trees, and proudly share their contribution.
