Dedicated specialists and subject experts from Australian, US, and British universities and various Indian Institutes of Technology provided valuable sources of technical content and broadened the scope of thermal engineering applications and modes of multiphase heat transfer in the Faculty Development Programme on ‘Recent Advances in Heat Transfer and Combustion Engineering’ of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University.

The Aligarh Muslim University clarified that the Executive Council through its resolution, dated, October 4, 2005, and resolution no. 15, dated January 1, 2005, resolved that the monogram with Quran Ayah on the notices of meetings, invitation cards, pamphlets, examination, and test answer books, calendars, file covers, project and lab reports, examination and admission forms, and letterheads will not be used to avoid disrespect of the religious verse due to the ephemeral nature of these documents.
