The National Science Day-2023 was observed by the Department of Physics at AMU to commemorate the invention of the “Raman Effect'', by Indian Physicist Sir CV Raman for which he earned the Nobel Prize. Sir CV Raman has a connection with AMU as he was conferred D.Sc.( honoris causa) degree by the university on 20th November 1931.

फाल्गुन मास की पूर्णिमा में भले अभी वक्त है, लेकिन भोजपुरी म्यूजिक इंडस्ट्री में रंग और गुलाल उड़ना शुरू हो गया है। युवा दिलों की धकड़न कहे जाने वाले गायक - अभिनेता अरविंद अकेला कल्लू भी इसमें पीछे नहीं हैं। उनका नया होली गाना 'भऊजी के दिल पिचकरिये पे गील बा' हाल ही में ‘हम भोजपुरी’ से रिलीज हुआ है।

विक्रांत सिंह राजपूत, संचिता बनर्जी, ऋषभ कश्यप और श्रुति राव अभिनीत रोमांटिक व पारिवारिक मनोरंजन से भरपूर फिल्म ‘ये बंधन है प्यार का’ का धमाकेदार ट्रेलर रिलीज कर दिया गया है। यह फिल्म भाई, भाभी और देवर के रिश्ते की एक बेहद खूबसूरत कहानी पर बनी है। इस फिल्म के निर्माता प्रदीप सिंह, प्रतीक सिंह, अपूर्व मेडतिया और मोनिका सिंह हैं। फिल्म का निर्देशन प्रवीण कुमार गुड्डूरी ने किया है।

The Embassy of Israel in India, in collaboration with ONKAF Gallery, is organizing an exhibition by Israeli artists Maya Gelfman and Roie Avidan. Titled ‘Bodies of Work’, this exhibition will be on view till March 3.

One hundred six schools from across India were certified ‘green’ here at a ceremony conducted by the Centre for Science and Environment’s Green School Programme. Of these, 19 schools received the topmost Annual Green School Awards for their exemplary initiatives in making their campuses environment-friendly and their students, environment-conscious.
