On International Primate Day, Wildlife SOS draws urgent attention to the escalating human-primate conflict issues intensified by urbanisation, habitat encroachment, and infrastructure development. As natural habitats shrink and are replaced by concrete structures, the lives of these adaptable yet vulnerable creatures are increasingly at risk.

To create awareness among people regarding eye donation and urge them to do so, the Eye Bank at the Institute of Ophthalmology at JN Medical College in Aligarh Muslim University organized an event, ‘Bridging the Gap - Eye Donation’, observing the Eye Donation Fortnight.

Dr Ramesh Chandra Sharma was my elder brother Maxi's classmate at St John's College since 1953. When I got admission to the first year of Intermediate in January 1957 in St John's College, he was doing his MA in History and was a first-year student. Since both my house and his house were in Ghatia Azam Khan, I often used to accompany him while walking to college.
