The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd has commenced the casting of U-girders for the elevated balance section of the Agra Metro Corridor, which will stretch from Guru Ka Taal to Sikandara. This development signifies a significant advancement in the project's timeline.

The Residents, scholars, students, and faculty members participated in a programme organised by the Department of Psychiatry in JN Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University, on World Suicide Prevention Day, reinforcing their commitment to address mental health concerns and promoting a supportive environment for those struggling with suicidal tendencies.

The Centre of Continuing and Adult Education and Extension at Aligarh Muslim University organised a lecture on “Financial Literacy” by Aqeel-ur-Rehman, an expert in the stock market for the learners to understand how to grow financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting and investment.

“The Indo-Persian literature produced during the reign of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan has yet to receive the sustained scholarly attention that is commensurate with its vastness and significance. Interdisciplinarity would facilitate these scholarly endeavours and in the process, Persian scholars could play a key role by editing the existing literary corpus.”

Dr Tabish Khan from the Department of Neurosurgery of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University chaired a session at the 4th World Neuroscience Summit held in New Delhi and presented a paper on “Spinal Deformities”.
