Aligarh: An online Orientation-cum-Interaction Programme was organised by University Women’s Polytechnic for the newly-admitted students of Non-Engineering Courses of Diploma in Secretarial Practice, Diploma in Costume Design & Garment Technology and Advanced Diploma in Interior Decoration for the Session 2021–22.
Dr Salma Shaheen, Principal, University Women’s Polytechnic, in her welcome address encouraged students to show their enthusiasm to complete their courses successfully.
“Focus on your skill development and make the best use of courses that cover creativity, innovation and ethics”, she added.
Dr Sheeba Manzoor, Convener of the programme, gave an overview of the University Women’s Polytechnic, various committees and facilities that are provided to the students.
Misbah-ur-Rehman and Tariq Ahmed, Computer Engineering Section, shared and explained the academic ordinances and course curriculum to the students.
Dr Sohaib Masood, Secretarial Practice Section, briefly discussed the Diploma in Secretarial Practice Course, its duration, number of semesters and intake of students.
Hina Nawaz, Sadia Naim and Ikra Salim shared useful information about the Diploma In CD> and Advance diploma in Interior Decoration Course, subjects taught, scope and opportunities after completing the course with the students.
Fauzia Khan was also the programme convener and the proceedings were conducted by Ikra Salim.
