The Aligarh Muslim University Girls' School hosted a lecture on breast cancer delivered by Dr Mohsin Raza, Secretary of the Society for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Dr Ramesh Chandra Sharma was my elder brother Maxi's classmate at St John's College since 1953. When I got admission to the first year of Intermediate in January 1957 in St John's College, he was doing his MA in History and was a first-year student. Since both my house and his house were in Ghatia Azam Khan, I often used to accompany him while walking to college.

Dr Manazir Athar, Department of Anaesthesiology of JN Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University delivered a lecture on "Local Anaesthetic Resistance" at a national conference, ISA-YUVACON 2024.

The students, teachers and staff at various schools and departments of Aligarh Muslim University attended the awareness programmes held under the Nasha-Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to educate students against drug abuse and trafficking and make them aware of the ill effects of using intoxicating materials, including smoking cigarette or consuming paan, gutka and other illicit drugs.

To celebrate World Breastfeeding Week, the faculty members, doctors, residents and interns participated in a series of programmes held at the Rural Health Training Centre in Jawan, which works under the management of the Department of Community Medicine, JN Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University.
