The Department of Zoology at Aligarh Muslim University organized a two-day national conference on ‘Advances in Biological Sciences: Molecules to Organisms’ with Dr Sanjeev Galande, Dean, School of Natural Sciences at Shiv Nadar University of Delhi as the chief guest at its inaugural session.

The Aligarh Muslim University Vice-Chancellor Professor Naima Khatoon has expressed a deep sense of shock and grief at the demise of the former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.

Eight research scholars from the Department of Philosophy at Aligarh Muslim University participated in the Joint 98th–99th Session of the Indian Philosophical Congress held at Annamalai University in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, from December 18–21.
