To mark the 100-day countdown of the 8th International Day of Yoga, the Department of Physical Education, Aligarh Muslim University celebrated Yoga Utsav based on the theme ‘Unite with Yoga’.

Faculty members and education experts deliberated on the impact of stress and adversities on the social and psychological well-being of learners during the Covid-19 period at an international colloquium organized by the Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in virtual mode on "Socio-Psychological Issues of Learner in Covid-19 Era".

Prof Mohammad Rihan, Member Incharge Electricity and Coordinator Centre for Green and Renewable Energy delivered an invited talk on “Decarbonising the electric power grid; opportunities and challenges” for the management and engineers of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited.  The talk was organised by the Distribution Operations & Safety Excellence Center of the Tata Power DDL

In a commendable step towards environment conservation, team Agra Metro has decided to promote the transplantation of trees as and where possible, even though it has already obtained the permission of cutting the trees from the apex court.
