Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University Polytechnic organized a lecture by Prof Shambhunath Tewari to celebrate the "Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav".
Speaking on the topic, "Promoting Bharatiya Bhasha in our city", Prof Tewari, who happens to be an executive member of Poly Society, explored the multi-dimensional significance of linguistic diversity in India.
Prof Arshad Umar, Principal of University Polytechnic, stated that every language, even if it represents a small region, is important as a part of the larger linguistic and cultural identity of the country, and we need to preserve and promote it in every possible means.
Dr. Syed Kaleem Afrough Zaidi, Incharge of Poly Society, conducted the organization of the programme.
Yusra Ali, a student with Diploma in Engineering, conducted the programme, and Syyada Faheem extended a vote of thanks.
