Aligarh: The Department of Cardiology in JN Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University will organise a free Pacemaker checkup camp on April 24 to check the patients for device functioning interrogate them and detect any possible problems. Camp will be held in the OPD number 14 from 9 am onwards.
Prof Asif Hasan, Chairman of the department said that patients with pacemakers like single chamber, dual chamber, ICD, CRT, implanted at JN Medical College or any other hospital may register in advance and come on the day with proper records and documents.
He said the pacemakers or devices are reset according to programming parameters and battery replacement is suggested if battery depletion is detected.
