Aligarh: Dr. Tariq Masood, an Economics Assistant Professor at the Department of West Asian and North African Studies, Aligarh Muslim University received a grant of ₹5 lac from the Science and Engineering Research Board to organize a workshop on "Econometric Analysis of Efficiency and Productivity with Stochastic Frontier Approach".
The workshop grant is a part of the 'Accelerate-Vigyan' Scheme of SERB and aims at providing theoretical and empirical training to Ph.D. and postgraduate Students.
Dr. Tariq also received an ICSSR project grant of ₹4.85 Lakh to work on a project titled "An Ex-Ante Assessment of Long Term Impact of India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement".
The project study will analyze the long-term impact of the recent India-UAE economic partnership agreement and is expected to provide policy guidance for the future course of action.
