Winners of Olympiads felicitated at STS School

Aligarh: The Syedna Tahir Saifuddin School of Aligarh Muslim University organized a prize distribution ceremony for the winners of various competitive events, including the national-level Olympiads.

Faisal Nafees, Principal of the school, said that during the session 2022-2023, the STS School organized various Silver Zone Olympiads and more than 200 students participated in these events. A total of 33 students received medals in different Olympiads.

Asif Ali, a student of Class VIII-A1, got the gold medal for achieving distinction and securing the 25th Zonal Rank in National Science Olympiad. He also got a gold medal in International Mathematics Olympiad, International Reasoning and Aptitude Olympiad, and a silver medal in International Mathematics Olympiad.

Faisal Nafis, while congratulating the winners, urged the students to take part in all kinds of curricular and extracurricular activities and work hard to achieve excellence. He appreciated the role of Samina Yusuf Khan, Olympiad Coordinator, who prepared and encouraged the students to take part in such events.
