Aligarh: Prof. Saira Mehnaz, Chairperson, Department of Community Medicine in JN Medical College at Aligarh Muslim University has been awarded the fellowship of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine.
She received the Fellowship at the National Conference of the Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine, which was held recently at Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore.
Prof. Mehnaz was presented with the Fellowship by Dr. Purushottam Giri, a distinguished community medicine expert and Secretary General of IAPSM, in the presence of Dr. AM Kadri, President of IAPSM, and other officer bearers.
IAPSM honors those who have made outstanding contributions to the disciplines of social and preventive medicine. The fellowship, given to deserving experts, is a testament to their dedication to and influence on the advancement of these essential healthcare fields.
