Orthopaedic resident bags first prize in scholar competition

Aligarh: Dr. Madhav Chowdhry, Resident in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at JN Medical College of Aligarh Muslim University, secured 1st position in the North Zone Level of the National Torrent Young Scholar competition held on Dec.2. He will now compete in the final national level round which will be held in January next year.

Dr. Madhav Chowdhry and Dr. Shivank Khurana were the two residents selected in the top 12 candidates of the North Zone. Both the residents qualified in the first round to enter the top 6 positions of the competition.

Prof. Abdul Qayyum Khan, Chairperson, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and other faculty members congratulated both residents for their accomplishments.
