Orientation Programme by Department of Social Work held

Aligarh: Department of Social Work Aligarh Muslim University has organized its 27th Orientation Programme for Master of Social Work, 1st Semester students. The orientation saw many eminent speakers conducting informative and impactful sessions for the students.

In his presidential remark Prof Mohammed Gulrez, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AMU; emphasized the collective work for humanity and talked about the importance of youth participation in promoting unity in diversity.

Prof Mirza Asmer Beg, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences in his keynote address; mentioned the various important traditions of AMU and how it is unique and different from other universities.

Chairman of the department Prof Naseem Ahmad Khan in his welcome address talked about the relevance of the Orientation Programme.

While conducting the proceedings Dr Mohd Arif Khan gave an introduction about the orientation programme. 

Dr Qurratul Aein Ali delivered a vote of thanks.  The programme was attended by newly admitted students along with faculty members.
