Aligarh: The 14th National Voter’s Day was commemorated with fervor at Aligarh Muslim University on January 25, underscoring the significance of each vote in a democratic society. This year's celebrations adopted the theme, “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure.”

To mark the occasion, the teaching and non-teaching staff, along with students, gathered at the AMU Administrative Block and various departments took the pledge. The pledge was administered by the Officiating Registrar SM Suroor Athar.

As a part of the celebration, AMU's departments and schools organized diverse activities such as debates, discussions, and competitions encompassing drawing, skits, songs, paintings, and essays. These initiatives aimed to promote awareness and engagement in the electoral process. The proceedings also featured the display of the National Voters' Day logo, emphasizing the crucial role of voting in shaping the nation's future.
