Aligarh: The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University Prof Mohd Gulrez released the 8th Edition of ‘Tareekh-i-Tibb-o-Akhlaqiyat’, authored by Prof Dr Ashhar Qadeer from the Faculty of Unani Medicine at his office.
Since its inception in 2001, this textbook has garnered popularity among students, emerging as the go-to resource on the subject. Notably, it remains the sole publication updated by the syllabus recommended by the National Commission for the Indian Systems of Medicine.
Published by the Publication Division of AMU, the book's latest edition underscores its commitment to academic excellence. Prof Ferasat Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Unani Medicine, Prof FS Sherani, Chairman of the Department of Kulliyat, and assistant professors Dr Arshi Riaz and Dr Huma Noor were also present during the release.
