Aligarh: Beenish Rashid, a fourth-semester postgraduate student in the Department of Islamic Studies at Aligarh Muslim University has been elected as the Vice President of the Islamic Studies Society.
While, Safia from MA, II Sem student, has been declared elected as the Secretary, and Farheen of MA, IV Sem, as the Joint Secretary of the society. Zikra Hameed, Haleema, Aafiya, Mumtaz, and Mondal have been elected as members. Dr. Aijaz Ahmed is the President of the Islamic Studies Society.
Shafia Akbar from MA, IV Sem, has been declared elected as the Secretary and Nusrat Shakeel from MA, II Sem, as the Joint Secretary of the Seminar Library.
The elections to various positions in the Islamic Studies Society and Islamic Studies Seminar Library were held under the supervision of the Chairman, Prof. Abdul Hamid Fazili.
