Bhumendra appointed as UP State Vice-President of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha



Kr. Bhumendra Pal Singh has been appointed as UP State Vice-President of Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha.

Singh, the scion of the royal house of Awagarh, had done his schooling from The Daly College, Indore, and Masters of Commerce from St.John's College, Agra. He started his career working as a Partner with “Wildcraft” The company helps local craftsmen around Awagarh promote their crafts in the overseas market. Wildcraft depicts animal motif designs using various mediums.

The Awagarh family made one of the biggest contributions in the field of education and the promotion of crafts. The family has been a follower of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and helped him set up Shantiniketan. The greatest contribution to the family was made by his great-great-grandfather Raja Balwant Singh. One major contribution was made in the form of Raja Balwant Singh College, at Agra way back in 1885. Today it’s known for its phenomenal epoch-making progress. This institution is one of the oldest of its kind and has a  gigantic stature. It was visited and praised by DD Eisenhower the first US President to visit India.
