AMU begins Short Term courses admission



Aligarh: Admissions in 19 different Short-Term-I- Batch 2022 certificate courses of the Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning, Aligarh Muslim University began on Wednesday, March 23, and will continue till April 16.

As per the official notice, the admissions will be given on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis and candidates willing to apply can do so by purchasing the application forms for Rs.100 from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm from the  Office of the Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning.

“The fee structure for computer-based courses is Rs.1700, while admission to others courses will be done for Rs.800”, said Prof Naima Khatoon, Director, Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning, adding that admissions to all these courses will also require payment of Rs.100 as the enrolment fee and selected candidates must bring two self-attested photocopies of high school certificates and two photographs at the admission time.

She informed that the two-hour-long classes (2 pm to 4 pm) for these courses will be held three days a week from May 9.  

These Short Term courses include Beauty Culture I (Skin Care), Beauty Culture II (Hair Care), Beauty Culture (Advance), Interior Decoration, Garment Making, Fashion Illustration and Sketching, Textile Designing, Needle Work (Embroidery), Short Hand, Handicraft, English Fluency Development Course, Commercial Art, Word Processing, Electronic Data Processing, Web Designing and Publishing, Tally, Computer Typing (English), Computer Typing (Hindi) and Computer Programming (PYTHON).
