Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University Vice Chancellor Prof Naima Khatoon released the Unani Medicine Faculty Journal, ‘Unani Medicus’, which reflects the in-depth discussion of innovative approaches used in Unani medicine and carries the high–quality original research papers and reviews, both modern and classical, which pave the way for exploring and synthesizing the theories and practices.

Prof Khatoon appreciated the efforts of the editorial board for reviving the journal and bringing it out with a new look with high-impact factor papers and articles.

Prof Ubaidullah, Editor in Chief, said that at present there are a few international journals in this field and a lot of valuable research works fail to reach the masses due to their non-publication. He hoped the journal would become a regular feature in carrying out the research papers and articles of the faculty members and scholars of AMU.

The Editor, Prof Tanzeel Ahmad said that the continuity of this journal is of prime importance for us and we will make efforts to publish it regularly. He urged the faculty members and research scholars to share their papers, reviews, theoretical papers, case reports, field surveys, web reviews and letters to the editor for the upcoming issue of the journal.
