Multi-national companies hire AMU students

Aligarh: Sapient, IBM, Mercer, Reify, Uflex Chemicals, Soft Nice, Talent Recruit, Vedanta, Infosys, and Azim Premji foundation among other multinational companies have hired 95 Aligarh Muslim University students from management, sciences, engineering, commerce, and social science streams in a recently concluded recruitment drive of the Training and Placement Office—General. 

“Multinationals have been hiring AMU graduates and postgraduates despite the slump in jobs during the pandemic”, said Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer—General, and Assistant Training and Placement Officers, Dr. Jahangir Alam and Dr. Muzamil Mushtaq.

They added: “More such placement drives are scheduled to take place in the coming months”.

Meanwhile, in a separate recruitment drive, M/S Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions has hired two undergraduate AMU engineering students.

“They are Goranshi Sharma, B. Tech Chemical, and Vila Jafar, BE Electrical”, said Mohd Farhan Saeed, Training and Placement Officer, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology.
