Agra: The employees of the Agra Metro Rail Project engaged in Shramdan and cleaned the surroundings of various stations.
Taj East Gate Metro Station, Capt Shubham Gupta Metro Station, Fatehabad Road Metro Station, Agra Metro Depot, Agra Metro Project Director Office, Taj Mahal Metro Station, Dr Ambedkar Chowk Metro Station and Mankameshwar Metro Station cleaned during the campaign.
Senior officials including PD Agra Arvind Rai and the entire staff of Agra Metro Project were present at various sites and engaged in Shramdan.
The Agra metro employees also undertook an oath of cleanliness which entails that every employee will contribute 100 hours every year towards cleanliness and also urge others to keep their surroundings clean, as cleanliness is godliness.
Towards the culmination of ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ the employees rigorously engaged in shramdan on the guidelines of the Government of India’s initiative ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ and gave a strong message of keeping one’s surroundings clean.
