Agra: With decks cleared, the Taj City Metro is all set to operate in the priority sector in early March. Commissioner for Metro Rail Safety, who is the approval granting authority for metro rail services, gave his approval for Agra Metro after his three-day inspection visit to the Agra Metro Rail Project.
The metro project was inspected thoroughly by Janak Kumar Garg, CMRS including the track, platform, concourse area, third rail, civil structures, and other important aspects of the metro project.
After the Lucknow and Kanpur Metro Projects, the Agra Metro Project will be the third metro project to be operated by the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Project.
Uttar Pradesh Metro is committed to giving the people of Agra a world-class metro rail system before the set timeline with utmost safety and international quality standards, officials claimed.
